Clean Aviation Joint Understanding (CA JU) is the most significant, ambitious and integrated research and innovation partnership to date, connecting the European Union and Europe's aeronautics industry. It defines the most ambitious agenda related to aviation's transformation towards climate neutrality ever.
Clean Aviation will develop and demonstrate technologies which will reduce greenhouse emissions by at least 30% vs. current state-of-the-art regional and short-medium range aircraft with a targeted entry-into-service in 2035. That is an ambitious goal, but Clean Aviation is not starting from scratch, it will build on the strong foundations laid by the work of the Clean Sky and Clean Sky 2 Joint Undertakings.
The first Clean Aviation Call for Proposals has been launched on 23rd of March 2022. As part of the Horizon Europe programme, this is the largest Call ever released by either Clean Aviation or Clean Sky - €735 million is being unlocked for innovative proposals for disruptive, sustainable technology that can make clean aviation a reality. 14 different technological challenges have been identified for innovators to address.
For the same reason the Faculty of Aeronautics of the Technical University of Košice & Slovak Horizon Europe National Contact Point Office jointly organize this one-day international virtual event.
The information part of the event will be followed by brokerage session based on pre-scheduled meetings via B2match tool that is organized in cooperation with the Horizon Europe National Contact Points offices in Slovakia and … in partnership with the Enterprise Europe Network.
